Home Typing Practice

Application: Mavis Beacon Kidz Teaches Typing

In response to parent inquiries, we are providing typing as a home practice exercise for Computersaurus Class Students. It is not required, but we do encourage students to continue practicing typing at home. They will be building on the skills that they are  already learning in class.

Home External Mouse Practice

In response to parent inquiries, we are providing links where parents can buy an external mouse for their child to use as a home practice exercise for Computersaurus Class Students. It is not required, but we do encourage students to continue practicing their use of the external mouse to become more comfortable and confident with their use. Again, they will be building on the skills that they are  already learning in class.

Typing and using the external mouse are a great way to help build fine motor skills in children, which have been shown to increase brain connections.
